Maccabi Sports Camp

Jewish Community Through Sports
Maccabi Sports Camp is an overnight Jewish sports camp located just outside of San Francisco in Atherton, California. Our camp welcomes athletes in grades 3-11 from around the United States, Canada, and the world. During our camp sessions, campers develop skills in the sport of their choice β baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Their daily routine also includes plenty of other sports and camp activities mixed in with the core values of a Jewish summer camp experience.
Upon registration, each camper selects a core sport on which to focus for the duration of the session. The camp staff of experienced coaches, from the high school and collegiate level, provide individual instruction to young athletes seeking to advance their skills in a supportive and relationship-driven Jewish community. Community, culture, and character are at the heart of a unique Jewish camp experience that combines high-level specialized sports instruction with the fun, friendship, values, and community of Jewish overnight camp. Through its affiliation with the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto, Maccabi Sports Camp is also building year-round experiences for campers and young athletes in the Bay Area.
Sessions
Sessions are for campers entering grades 3-11. Each of the core sports β baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball β are offered during each session. During the first week of each session, we offer a Rookie Camp session for campers entering grades 3-6. This unique program gives first-time campers a chance to spend 1 week at camp to get a taste of the sports and community that makes our camp unique.
Location
Our summer home is the gorgeous Menlo College. The campus of this cozy, intimate private school is nestled within the safe, quiet residential neighborhood of Atherton, California located in the Bay Area, just thirty minutes south of San Francisco.
Maccabi Cup
The Maccabi Cup is not simply an athletic competition; itβs an epic event that emphasizes teamwork, spirit, leadership, and strong character. During this multiple-day competition, the entire camp is divided into two teams to compete for the honor of having their team name engraved on the esteemed Maccabi Cup which is displayed for future generations of campers.
