Ramah of the Waves

Camp Ramah in Northern California - known affectionately as Ramah Galim (meaning Ramah of the Waves) - combines the excitement of developing one’s skills and passions in a specialty area with the full experience and magic of a traditional Ramah summer camp. Each summer Camp Ramah in Northern California creates an unforgettable camp experience and a unique Jewish community by the beach. Our programming focuses on three core specialty areas: ocean exploration, performing arts, and outdoor adventure sports with integrated Jewish Education and community building. Campers who attend Ramah develop their skills as they follow their passions and build lifelong friendships. We can’t wait to spend the summer with you!

Sessions

Ramah Galim offers three sessions: two, four, and six weeks in length for rising 3rd-11th graders. A one-week ‘taste of Ramah’ program is available to rising 3rd and 4th graders.

Location

Our summer home is Monterey Bay Academy, located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in Northern California. The 380-acre campus has its own one-mile stretch of private beach that offers the ultimate camper experience.

A Typical Day
